House Check
As a service to our residents the police department will perform a house check while you are away from home.
Forms are available on the Butler Township website under “Applications” or you can contact the police department at 724-285-9600 for more information.
Child Safety Seats
The Butler Township Police Department has an officer certified in the installation of Child Safety seats. The installation process takes approximately 1 1/2 hours. Arrangements can be made with Patrolman Paul Kuss.

Fingerprint Requests
The Butler Township Police Department will complete requests for fingerprints that are required on paper fingerprint cards.
The cost is $30.00 and the service is available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is best to call to make sure an officer will be available. The service is not available if the request is being made for Act 153 (working with children).
Unused and Expired Prescription Drug Disposal
Unused and expired prescription drugs can be disposed of by dropping them off in the lobby of the Butler Township Police Department at 290 South Duffy Road between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
