House Check

Police Administration Office

The police department administration office is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.  Outside of those hours a call box is located to the right of the public entrance.  This dials directly to 911, where an officer is notified that you need assistance.

If you will be on vacation or away from home for an extended period, please let us know and our officers will periodically check your residence. 

To notify us of your desire for a House Check use on of the following options:

  • go to the “Applications” page and click on the “House Check Request Form”
  • contact the Police Administration Office during normal business hours at 724-285-9600.

If you request a house check please make sure your: 

  • house numbers are readable from the street.
  • house numbers are attached to a visible tree, fence or gate; if your home is hidden from the street.
  • mobile home identified with your house number.
  • house number face the street named in your address;  if you live on a corner.
