New Staff: Niki Collins

Niki Collins was brought on as the Executive Administrative Assistant in December 2022.

Her main purpose is to assist our Township Manager, Tom Knights, and to manage and execute Township Outreach efforts through the website and social media.

Niki’s career in government began in 2013 when she was still a student at Slippery Rock University studying Public Relations and worked as an intern for then State Representative Brian Ellis. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Public Relations, Niki began working full time for Representative Ellis until her husband received military orders to Marine Corps. Air Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. They lived there for almost 4 years.

Niki moved back to the Butler area in 2018 and went back to work for the PA House of Representatives, where she continued to aide in Outreach efforts as well as constituent relations with State Representative Marci Mustello until she came to join the Township where she plans to put her Public Relations skills to use for the community.

Niki is also a professional Wedding and Family Photographer and currently resides in Butler Township with her husband, Logan and her new baby, Eli while working toward her Master’s degree in Public Policy. She enjoys working with her local church and spending time as a family with walks around Meridian and Preston Park.
